  • Determine the areas to be drained (wet areas), the size and design of the drenotube system.

  • Rethink and mark lines on the ground before digging. If the surface is large, it may be necessary to install more than one line of drains.

  • Dig the trench starting at the exit which will be the lowest point, (OUTPUT) where the water will be evacuated or connected to a central drain line.

  • The base of the trench should have a uniform slope of 0.5% to 2.5% and should not have irregularities.

  • Open a trench about 10cm larger than the diameter of the pipe.

  • The depth of the trench will be determined by the particular circumstances of each installation and by the length of the installation taking into account the inclination.

1. IDENTIFY AND MARK THE AREA TO DRAIN.

  • Packaging. Remove the packing bags that protect the Drenotube.

  • Placement. Drain tube units will be placed along the trench with the open part down

  • Connection. Drenotube is supplied with a union sleeve placed on one of the ends, which will be connected to the end of the next tube by light pressure, making sure that the tube has entered half of the sleeve.

2. DRENOTUBE CONNECTION

  • Before placing the drenotube in the lower part of the excavation, plug the entrance or the beginning of the pipe (normally the highest part of the installation) with a suitable plug (not supplied) to prevent the soil or sand from entering the pipe. pipeline.

  • Position of the drenotube in the ditch. In the upper part an imprint will be displayed with the inscription -THIS LINE UP - THIS SIDE UP-. It is essential to respect this position to avoid obstructions and guarantee the same performance for many years.

  • Check joints, make sure that the tube is fully inserted into the union sleeve.

3. PLACEMENT IN THE DITCH

  • Before filling the trench, make sure there are no remains of plastic bags inside and check again that the tube is positioned correctly.

  • Fill the trench with a permeable floor. Avoid filling with waterproof soil such as limestone or clay. The filling can be compacted by manual or mechanical means.

  • Pressure. No pressure must be exerted that is higher than that allowed according to pipe (SN4 or SN8).

4. FILL AND CLOSE THE TRENCH
